CDHA aims to promote dental hygiene in California through advocacy, public education, and professional development. The mission of CDHA is to advance the field of dental hygiene by fostering public awareness of preventive health benefits and ensuring access to quality oral health care. They emphasize high standards in education, licensure, and practice, alongside supporting dental hygienists’ professional growth and interests.
This mission aligns with MBDHA’s focus as both are committed to improving public health and supporting dental hygienists in their roles through education and lobbying, allowing them to uphold high standards in oral health care across California.
CDHA’s mission supports MBDHA by providing resources and a voice at the state level to ensure policies that benefit both the public and the profession.
